America’s Schooner Cup Supporting Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society It is so unusual to see these gorgeous wooden schooners. The boats will sail competitively on San Diego Bay. Donations from local businesses and supporters go to NMCRS. A fundraiser auction will be held at Silver Gate Yacht Club after the race. NMCRS provides financial assistance and education, as well as other programs and services, to members of the United States Navy and Marine Corps, their eligible family members, widows, and survivors. The Society receives and manages donated funds to administer these programs and services, and all funds raised remain in San Diego County to support local military families. For over a century, the Society has expanded its services and programs to support the changing needs of service members and their families.
