Vintage Alley San Diego Card Show at Kobey’s Swap Meet | Cards & Collectibles Alley The Vintage Alley San Diego Card Show is taking over Kobey's Swap Meet on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. with one of the largest Cards & Collectibles Alley experiences in Southern California. Hosted by SD Card Club and Cards & Collectors, this all-day San Diego collectibles event will feature sports cards, Pokémon cards, trading card games, vintage collectibles, sealed boxes, singles, jerseys, memorabilia, apparel, and hobby vendors from across California. Important RSVP Information This Eventbrite registration is an RSVP ONLY and is NOT an admission ticket for entry into Kobey’s Swap Meet or the Vintage Alley Card Show. Vintage & Book Sale to Support Library The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library invite the community to a Vintage & Book Sale on Saturday, June 20, in the Oceanside Civic Center Library Community Room and Courtyard at 330 North Coast Highway. The event features vintage items for purchase, as well as a large book sale, with most used books on sale for only one dollar. The sale opens at 10 a.m. to all, but begins early, at 9 a.m., for Friends of the Oceanside Public Library members only. Memberships, starting at $20 per year, are available for purchase at the door. The Library has creative volunteers, staff, and Friends members who have collected and donated an array of one-of-a-kind keepsakes and vintage items most often found at estate sales or antique stores. Treasures are from every corner: jewelry, home goods, décor, accessories, and art, to name a few. Thousands of great bargain books will be available for purchase. The book sale offers a mix of books and DVDs, all priced at just $1 each. Unique gift books, art works, and puzzles are specially priced. Volunteers will be on hand to assist attendees in finding and purchasing items. The event will also feature works by local artists. Proceeds from memberships and fundraising events such as these make Library programs for all ages possible. The Friends of the Library support everything from purchasing books for the Library’s collection to funding events such as storytimes, teen activities, technology assistance, and community-centered programming—including cultural celebrations, Homework Helpers, and Library Club for adults with special needs. The U.S. military has paused its airstrikes on Iran after nearly two weeks of intensifying bombing, while diplomatic efforts have pushed forward to try to avert a return to all-out war.

In her first documentary feature, Argentine auteur Lucrecia Martel (ZAMA; FF Premieres "The Headless Woman" and "La Cienaga") investigates the 2009 murder of Indigenous activist Javier Chocobar—shot while defending his community’s land from capitalist raiders—and the systematic dispossession of the Chuschagasta people he represented. Martel alternates between footage of this controversial, long-delayed (9 years after the incident) trial, which hinges on a shaky cell-phone video; testimonials from Chuschagasta community members; and aerial footage of the stunning Tucumán province Chocobar fought to defend.
