  • The Kiwanis Ocean Beach Kiwanis is presenting their 79th Ocean Beach Children’s Kite Festival on Saturday May16th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Robb Field in Ocean Beach. Free kites for children and prizes are given out for the best decorated kites throughout the day. There will be professional kite demonstrations, craft and food vendors. The best part of the festival are the kite games where the children are separated in age groups who run after the kite tail in an attempt to pull it down.
