Sina Bathaie is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer known for his improvisational skills and unique style of playing traditional instruments such as the oud and ukulele, bringing an Eastern touch to his electronic music. With extensive international touring experience, Sina has performed across North America, Europe, the Middle East and New Zealand, selling out venues in cities such as Amsterdam, Cologne, and San Francisco. Sina’s music has charted 36 times across 25 countries, with his hit "Breath of Life" amassing 40 million streams and reaching the charts in Azerbaijan and Turkey. Another standout track, "Seven Ponds," trended upon its release in 2024. He has signed with leading labels such as Hoomidaas, Café de Anatolia, Windcatcher Records, Tibetania, and Camel VIP, further cementing his presence in the global music scene. The Annual San Ysidro STEM Fair is a co-created celebration of curiosity, community, and opportunity. Each spring, families, students, schools, and partners come together to lower barriers and open doors to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education and careers. Chaired by the Fleet Science Center, the San Ysidro STEM Committee is proud to mark the 5th anniversary of this free, equity-centered, family fair. In April 1926, Hugo Gernsback published Amazing Stories magazine for the first time, and while the name of the genre took a few more years to become a household term, many credit this moment with the birth of Science fiction fandom as we know it today! Join us for a two-panels featuring a discussion on the impact of Amazing Stories and Science Fiction as a genre! Featuring published authors, scholars, and podcasters with deep knowledge of the history and great works of the last 100 years.
