  • The Marine Room’s signature "High Tide Dinner Series" returns for summer 2026, inviting guests to enjoy one of Southern California’s most memorable oceanfront dining experiences. The series offers a rare opportunity to dine just feet from the surf as waves crash dramatically against the restaurant’s windows. Timed with the full moon and some of La Jolla’s highest tides of the year, "High Tide Dinners" will take place on June 13–15, July 12–14, and August 9–11. This year has two distinct dinner experiences including: "Rising Tide Dining": Begin the evening with an early seating from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. as the tide begins to rise along the La Jolla coastline. This experience offers a contemplative view of the ocean as the shoreline slowly shifts throughout dinner. Guests may enjoy a limited à la carte menu or a three-course menu priced at $125 per person. "High Tide Dining": Experience The Marine Room at its most iconic as the Pacific reaches its peak and watch nature put on a full display with waves crashing against the restaurant's windows. Beginning at 7 p.m. indulge in a specially curated four-course dinner accompanied by live music, priced at $165 per person. Guests may also upgrade to the Chef’s Table Experience for $250 per person, which includes curated wine pairings, enhanced courses and a take-home gift.
