Breckinridge Sr. (Shiloh, Atlanta Campaign); Admiral Stephen B. Luce (Siege of Charleston); and General Alexander S. Webb (Bull Run, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg). Clay is a longtime member of the San Diego Civil War Round Table and has written dozens of articles on historical topics.
