Slack Key 'Ohana: Family, Harmony and Island Spirit: Centered around Brian Witkin, his mother Carol Witkin, and his father Joe Witkin — a founding member of Sha Na Na who performed at Woodstock — Slack Key 'Ohana blends island music, slack key guitar, singalong harmonies, and warm acoustic roots into a sound rooted in family, connection, and the spirit of ʻohana. All proceeds from the event directly support Home of Guiding Hands' life-changing programs and services, including residential housing, early childhood development, independent living skills training, life planning, respite care, and other essential supports that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, meaningful lives. For more than 50 years, Home of Guiding Hands has provided quality community-based services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout San Diego County.
