A trough of low pressure was moving inland across San Diego County Sunday and was forecast to bring cooling through Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

San Diego County public health officials on Saturday reported 120 new COVID-19 infections and one new death, as hospitalizations dropped to 91 and the number of people with at least one dose of vaccine crossed the 2 million mark.

The closure includes all beaches from the U.S.- Mexico border to the south end of Seacoast Drive.

The cooling trend was predicted to continue Tuesday and Wednesday, the NWS said. Along with the cooling, forecasters predicted moderate to strong afternoon and evening winds in the mountains and deserts.

San Diego County code compliance officers also discovered several dangerous violations and environmental-related crimes related to the operation.

In a 94-page ruling, U.S. District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez, an appointee of then-President George W. Bush, wrote, "Like the Swiss Army knife, the popular AR-15 rifle is a perfect combination of home defense weapon and homeland defense equipment."

There were no reports of any damage or public threats related to the quake.

The plan calls for a permanent center that migrants and asylum seekers can use while they finalize travel arrangements to other parts of the country.

There have been 16 earthquakes reported near El Centro and Imperial since midnight.
