In L.A. Superior Court on Monday morning, attorneys for clergy sex-abuse victims and for the archdiocese presented a $660 million settlement. Attorneys and advocates for the victims are skeptical of the timing of the settlement as they believe it was timed to prevent the trial that was set to go ahead that day.

To boycott or not to boycott? That's the question in the Latin community as Monday approaches. As Rob Schmitz of member station KQED reports, many are trying to discourage this particular form of protest.

Protests by immigration advocates have dotted the nation in response to a bill passed by the House that many criticize as an attack on Latinos in particular. The debate moves next to the Senate.
