UC San Diego study finds virtual clinic reduces unnecessary hospital readmissions

When people are rehospitalized after medical procedures, it leads to higher costs for both patients and hospitals. KPBS health reporter Heidi de Marco says a new study by UC San Diego School of Medicine shows virtual clinics may help address the problem.
