Fossil history revealed in Anza-Borrego Desert
Giant camels, massive tortoises and sabertoothed cats lived in the Anza-Borrego Desert region about 7 million years ago. Host Tom Fudge speaks to editors of a book that chronicles 7 million years of evolution in our regional desert.
This Sunday the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park will celebrate Charles Darwin's 197th birthday by releasing this book to the public. A lecture will be take place at the park's visitor center. For more information call 760-767-0446.
