When foreigners come to live in the U.S., they have a lot to get used to. That’s why Diane Asitimbay has written a guidebook of American customs for foreigners. Diane is well traveled and she’s spent many years teaching English to international students. She’s now at UCSD. Her book, called What’s Up America, should be of interest to Americans as well, since it shows us how foreigners see us.
