Minutemen Protest Fallbrook Church's Informal Labor Center

Not satisfied with protesting at day-labor sites, migrant camps, city halls and the San Diego County Fair, anti-illegal immigration activists are targeting a Catholic church in Fallbrook.

Not satisfied with protesting at day-labor sites, migrant camps, city halls and the San Diego County Fair, anti-illegal immigration activists are targeting a Catholic church in Fallbrook.

The San Diego Minutemen have staged Saturday protests against an informal labor center run by St. Peter's Catholic Church .

Protestors shout through a bullhorn, display an effigy of a priest wearing a devil's mask and wave picket signs.

A demonstration last month took place as small children left the church after celebrating their First Communion.

The founder of the San Diego Minutemen, Jeff Schwik, says most of the workers are illegal immigrants, which the church helps find jobs.

The pastor of St. Peter's, the Reverend Edward Kaicher, says he has no plans to stop offering workers breakfast and a place to find work.
