Mexican military officials found more than 300 bundles of marijuana packed into a container truck at Sharp Electronics' Rosarito plant.

The bundles were hidden amongst nearly 150 flat screen televisions destined for Ontario, Canada.

Sharp Electronics officials say the container belonged to their local transport provider.

Military officials detained a 19-year-old from Tijuana in connection with the shipment.

Yesterday evening, Army General Sergio Aponte stood next to stacks of the marijuana at the military's base in Tijuana.

He says an anonymous tip lead them to the drugs. He called on people to continue reporting crime.

Aponte says people should report drug traffickers when they're at cockfights, at horse races, at nightclubs. He says in this way society and government can more effectively fight criminal organizations.

Sharp Electronics expanded its Rosarito plant last year to meet North America's growing demand for LCD televisions.

Sharp assembles the components in Rosarito and ships the televisions across the border to the U-S and Canada.
