Tom Fudge: Tomorrow is primary election day in California, and the big race in the City of San Diego is the race for mayor. Jerry Sanders is seeking to be re-elected as the city's first strong mayor in recent history, but he's being challenged by four other candidates.
During the coming hour of These Days, we'll bring you a debate that first aired Friday on KPBS-TV. The debate was presented in cooperation with 10News. It was co-hosted by Gloria Penner, the KPBS Political Correspondent, and 10News' Hal Clement.
In addition to Sanders, the candidates in the debate are Steve Francis, Floyd Morrow, Eric Bidwell and Jim Hart. In the debate, the candidates took questions from reporters, audience members and people on-line.
