San Diego home sales continue to drop when compared to numbers from a year ago. San Diego based

says just over three thousand homes changed hands last month. That's down more than 12 percent from last June. Dataquick's John Karevoll says the only thing he can say for certain is that there's uncertainty in the housing market.
Karevoll: There's turbulence, there's volatility, there's all sorts of things that we just aren't able to identify going on. The market is clearly way off what it was two years ago.
Karevoll says the region's average home price fell to $380,000. That's off more than 25 percent from last June's numbers.
