San Diegans Must Weigh School Repairs Prop with Economic Downturn
Tom Fudge : Prop S is a school bond that's before voters who live in the San Diego Unified School District. And it's being presented as an extension of Prop MM, which was passed by San Diego voters in the year 2,000. That proposition built four new schools.
There are no new schools proposed in Prop S. But it asks voters who live in the city of San Diego to approve more than $2 billion dollars in additional bond funds. That's to pay for what are described as badly needed renovations and repairs.
