SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Gusty west winds will blow through the mountains and deserts of San Diego County today, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency issued a wind advisory for the mountains and deserts from 3 p.m. today to 3 a.m. Friday, saying sustained winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour, gusting up to 45 mph, were likely. Isolated gusts up to 55 mph were also possible, according to the NWS.
Winds will be strongest near mountain ridge tops, an NWS advisory said.
