RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) -- Two former Marines are to be sentenced for the murder of a fellow Marine and his wife at their Riverside County home.

Emrys John could receive the death penalty at Friday's hearing. Kevin Cox is facing life in prison without parole.

They're among three ex-Marines who were convicted of invading the French Valley home of Sgt. Jan Pietrzak in 2008. Prosecutors say they tied up and robbed the 24-year-old sergeant and sexually assaulted his new bride, 26-year-old Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak, before shooting them in the head.

A third defendant, Tyrone Miller, previously was sentenced to death, and a fourth awaits trial.

All had worked with the sergeant at the Camp Pendleton Marine base.
