Supervisor Dianne Jacob is scheduled to present the annual State of the County address Wednesday.
Her speech is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the County Operations Center on Overland Ave., where she is expected to outline several new initiatives. It will be followed by a supervisors meeting at 2 p.m.
The supervisors Tuesday approved a change to its board policies allowing meetings to be held at the new county complex in Kearny Mesa. While numerous small events have been held at the new location in the past couple of years, this will be the first formal supervisors meeting there.
The meeting agenda includes final approval of a plan to allow groups to display flags and banners to enhance community character in the county right-of-way in unincorporated areas, and a two-year extension of a program that defers developer impact fees.
