Benise is “Benissimo!” in this ‘Best Of’ television special, a 10-year mosaic collection of the American guitarist’s favorite songs. From his humble beginnings as a street musician to performing around the world, Benise, known for his “nouveau Spanish flamenco” style, takes viewers on an international journey of musical genres including salsa, flamenco, tango, waltz, samba and more. “Benise: Strings Of Passion” is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning May 2015.
Fresh off their groundbreaking 34-city tour through China, and with more than 100 additional performances in 2014, Benise and cast return in 2015 with their new multi-cultural stage show “Strings Of Passion,” where classic rock anthems are brilliantly and seamlessly fused with fiery Spanish guitar and dazzling Spanish dance. Included in the lineup are songs from rock icons like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Eagles and more.
