KPBS presents five new episodes 0f KEN KRAMER'S ABOUT SAN DIEGO
This season we make stops along Historic Old Highway 80 to see places that used to be tourist attractions 80-years ago. Along the way we meet the man who now owns a desert town that was once a getaway for the rich and famous.
From Barrio Logan to San Marcos, we see some of the most unusual buildings in San Diego County, and discover how they came to be. We meet a man who wrote a musical tribute to Solana Beach, and now wants to change the way we sing the best-known song in America. We also discover why the West Lilac Road Bridge is such a North County Landmark.
We’re really ranging far and wide, from one end of the County to the other, for these upcoming episodes. Also, some of the most unusual and fun things that viewers have ever sent in for us to show!
Episodes of Ken Kramer's San Diego are available to stream on demand with the PBS App.
