Mexico Arrests Two More Alleged Members Of Drug Cartel

U.S. federal officials say that Manuel Garcia Simental and Raydel Lopez Uriarte were detained by Mexican law enforcement in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Monday morning.

Both men were allegedly high-ranking members of a drug gang previously run by Teodoro Simental, also known as "El Teo," in Tijuana.

Manuel Garcia Simental, aka El Chiquilin, or The Kid, is one of El Teo's brothers.

Raydel Uriarte Lopes, aka El Muletas, or Crutches, was a top lieutenant in Teodoro Garcia Simental, or El Teo's, drug gang.

Prior to their arrests, law enforcement officials speculated that one or the other would take over the drug gang after El Teo's arrest last month.
