SIMON: The party headquarters founded by the man who has said, "Keep France for the French" is being sold to the Chinese. Jean-Marie Le Pen's National Party is deeply in debt and has reportedly agreed to sell the mansion that houses its party headquarters to an unnamed university in Shanghai for 18 million dollars.

Monsieur Le Pen is a fierce opponent of immigration and famously reached the second round of the 2002 presidential election campaign and won 10 percent of the vote last year. But running for office has left his National Party deeply in debt. They might consider changing their slogan to "Keep France for whoever can pay for it."
