Looking for things to do this weekend? We've got some tips for you:

Live music is a big feature at this year's San Diego Pride Festival, which kicks off Friday through Sunday in Balboa Park. British pop star Natasha Bedingfield headlines Sunday. Local female rap duo 50/50 (featuring Miki Vale and Kandi Cole) are one of several acts performing on the hip-hop stage Saturday.

"Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry," which received the Special Jury Prize at this year's Sundance Film Festival, provides an insider's portrait of China's most famous contemporary artist and the country's most outspoken domestic critic. The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego hosts a free, one-night-only screening of the documentary Friday at its location in La Jolla. (Check out the trailer.)

New Jersey pianist Diane Moser and local contrabassist Mark Dresser perform their special blend of jazz Sunday at 98 Bottles in Little Italy.

Legendary Kinks singer/songwriter and guitarist Ray Davies performs with The 88 Sunday at House of Blues in downtown San Diego.

Local bands The Donkeys, Cuckoo Chaos, Jeans Wilder, The Tree Ring and more will provide the live soundtrack during the Golden Hill Street Fair on Sunday (25th Street between B and C streets). Plus, art-making activities, food from MIHO Gastrotruck and a beer garden curated by Stone Brewing Co.

Poolside Film Series screens "Fletch" tonight at The Lafayette Hotel in North Park. And the Dive-In Theatre at The Pearl Hotel in Point Loma screens "Little Miss Sunshine" on Wednesday.

Maureen Cavanaugh has been a familiar voice for KPBS listeners for more than 15 years, serving in a variety of capacities including announcer, host, and producer. As host of KPBS Midday Edition, Maureen has interviewed a wide range of notables, such as comedienne Sandra Bernhardt, actor John Lequizamo, author Chuck Palahniuk, composer Marvin Hamlisch, artist Robert Irwin, and designer Zandra Rhodes. But of all the interviews Maureen has conducted, her most special was with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Before joining KPBS in 1997, she worked as a news anchor for KSDO and KOGO News Radio in San Diego. While working for commercial radio stations in San Diego and in Salt Lake City, Utah, Maureen reported on both hard news and lifestyle features. Maureen has received three "Golden Mike" awards from the Radio and TV News Association of Southern California for economic reporting and breaking news. She has also received a "Best of Show" and “Best Radio Newscast” awards from the San Diego Press Club and the "Flo" Award from Public Radio Program Directors Association for Best Public Radio Announcer in a large market. Maureen is a native of Queens, New York, but after more than 20 years in San Diego she feels she qualifies as a real Southern Californian.
