Hello, Home Post readers. My name is Beth Ford Roth, and I'll be the guest blogger for Home Post for the next few weeks. KPBS is my old stomping grounds, as I was the station's education reporter for four years. While working as the ed reporter, I covered many stories about the effects of war and parental deployments on military families. In the past few years I've worked as a freelance writer and blogger, covering topics ranging from politics to relationship dynamics. I'm excited to get the opportunity to again focus on issues important to members of the military and their families.
