Airmen Killed in Frankfurt Shooting Were Stationed in England

The two airman killed today at Frankfurt International Airport when a 21-year-old Kosovar gunman opened fire on their bus were stationed at Lakenheath Airfield in England, according to USA Today. The other two servicemembers injured in the incident are also stationed at Lakenheath. There aren't a lot of details coming out of Germany at this time, and some of the information is conflicting, but the U.S. Air Force did confirm these details to USA Today. The paper reports:

VOA News reports President Obama said the attack "saddened" and "outraged" him. German Chancellor Angela Merkel called the attack a "terrible incident."
