Although the military band that made her famous may be losing its funding, Sidewinder singer Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson is continuing her patriotic duty. Johnson wowed the crowd at CenturyLink Field with "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the Seattle Seahawks game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Johnson's performance was part of the Seahawks' Military Appreciation Day. When Johnson completed singing the anthem, a C-17 from Joint Base Lewis-McChord's 446th Airlift Wing did a fly-by of the stadium.
Johnson and her band Sidewinder became famous when their version of the Adele song "Rolling in the Deep" went viral on YouTube.
