Camp Pendleton Marine Found Dead in Barracks (Video)

Authorities have identified the Camp Pendleton Marine found dead in his barracks Sunday as Pvt. Thomas J. Angelo. Naval Criminal Investigative Agency spokesman Ed Buice told the North County Times that Angelo's death does not appear to be suspicious in nature:

The 21-year-old Angelo grew up in Rochester, New York. He joined the Marine Corps in 2008, according to the NC Times. He was assigned to the Medium Helicopter Training Squadron 164 at Camp Pendleton as an avionics technician.

His death remains under investigation.

When Angelo completed boot camp at Parris Island in South Carolina, his family celebrated by shooting a video on the car ride home. The family posted that video on YouTube:
