Good news if you're a veteran living in San Diego County and enjoy the outdoors. The San Diego County Board of Supervisors yesterday approved a plan to allow qualifying military veterans free use of county parks and campgrounds.
San Diego television station 10News reports that honorably discharged veterans will be eligible for free use of county parks and campgrounds if they are disabled, were prisoners of war, or have received the Medal of Honor.
Supervisor Dianne Jacob said at yesterday's board meeting:
