USS Essex Crew Plays Hockey With Canada
The San Diego-based USS Essex is off the coast of Hawaii for RIMPAC - world's largest naval maritime exercise. Recently the crew of the USS Essex took some time out from duty for a friendly game of hockey against members of Canada's military.
The Navy estimates 25,000 service members, 42 ships, six submarines, and more than 200 aircraft from 22 countries are participating in RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific). The event wraps up August 3rd.
