Three small earthquakes rattled Baja California today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The first temblor struck at 12:54 this morning with a magnitude of 3.2, its epicenter 9 miles north of Guadalupe Victoria and 112 miles east of Tijuana, according to a computer-generated USGS report.
The next shaker -- magnitude 3.8 -- came at 3:18 a.m. and was centered 14 miles south of Calexico, Calif., and 147 miles east of Tijuana, the agency reported. The third quake -- its epicenter at around the same place as the one before it -- struck at 5:01 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.2.
