iPhone fanatics spent the night outside stores in San Diego Thursday night or joined lines early Friday to get their hands on Apple's latest products, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The Apple store in the Fashion Valley mall in Mission Valley sold out of the iPhone 6 Plus in 90 minutes, according to 10News.
"We were here for 14 hours," Alex Jurez told the station. "It was worth it."
Apple says the new gadgets have larger screens with retina high definition displays, faster processors and better synching with other devices. The iPhone 6 plus has a 5.5-inch screen, while the regular iPhone 6's screen is 4.7 inches.
The high tech product publication CNet gave the iPhone 6 four and a half stars10ne out of a possible five.
The reviewer liked the larger and crisper display, better phone and Internet speeds, and greater storage capacity, but noted that the battery performance was no better than earlier versions.
"I'm a complete Apple fanboy, everything in my household is Apple," Jeff Parker told 10News. "As soon as they come out with the iHouse, I'm going to get it."
