  • Kick off the holiday a little early with a morning of festive fun at Del Mar Plaza. On Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Del Mar Foundation is hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on the Ocean View Deck and Garden Deck—offering families a chance to enjoy Easter festivities ahead of the holiday rush. The morning begins with an infant egg hunt from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by a second round for toddlers and young kids from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Little ones can also get creative with Easter crafts led by the local library, while the Del Mar Foundation provides baskets, eggs, and springtime décor. Plaza restaurants and shops will be part of the celebration, too. Parents can grab handcrafted coffee from Kini Coffee or a pastry from Paris en Rose while the kids play, or enjoy a full brunch at The Cottage with a backdrop of coastal views. Guests can also stop by Camino Books, the Plaza’s new indie bookstore, to browse a curated collection of reads, and so much more. The Easter Eggstravaganza event is free and open to the public—no reservations required. For more details, visit www.delmarplaza.com or follow @officialdelmarplaza on Instagram.
