Hosted by Scripps Cancer Center, this free event is for newly diagnosed patients, as well as those going through or having completed breast cancer treatment. It provides a safe space to find emotional support, understanding, new coping skills and encouragement. Group members share experiences, knowledge, hopes, fears and strengths in a relaxed and confidential setting. The session is available virtually through Microsoft Teams and phone and is one of several events Scripps is offering in June to mark national cancer survivors day.
