  • Do you enjoy listening to a good story? Being read to is enjoyable for everyone! Every 3rd Tuesday of the month we will read two short stories out loud to you. These stories may have you on the edge of your seat in suspense, drifting off to the sound of the words, or full in your feelings. So sit back and relax while we read to you, with a brief intermission, and then finish off with an engaging discussion. This month we are reading a short story from Paul Theroux's book of short stories The Vanishing Point. These short stories will be relatable for everyone as we all experience those moments in life where change is inevitable. Come join us Tuesday night to find out what the 2nd story will be! Real, abstract, and/or ideal figures can create emotional responses with the addition of color. Create several figure studies before painting a final piece of art.   • On Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, Jane Dorotik’s husband Bob went out for a run and never came back. He was found dead by the side of the road early the next morning, and Jane’s life changed forever. Three days later, she was arrested for his murder. Over the next two decades Jane would become a convict, a martyr, an advocate and she would play a key role in exposing fatal flaws in the criminal justice system.
