Thirteen years in the making, this film dives into Harbour’s extraordinary influence through rare footage, surf history, and personal stories from the Seal Beach community he helped shape. Following the screening, Chris Sardelis and others will take guests behind the scenes of the film, sharing what inspired the project, the challenges of bringing it to life, and the stories that could not be left untold.   • Join VFW Post 10577 for a family-friendly morning celebrating classic rides, community spirit, and our local veteran community! Held at the Oceanside Elks Lodge, this vibrant event welcomes all makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorbikes. Come out to browse an incredible lineup of unique vehicles, check out local businesses, and participate in a raffle. Admission is entirely free for spectators. Vehicle registration is $35 (includes your exhibition space, entry for 1st–3rd place trophies, and a raffle ticket).   • Vintage & Book Sale to Support Library The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library invite the community to a Vintage & Book Sale on Saturday, June 20, in the Oceanside Civic Center Library Community Room and Courtyard at 330 North Coast Highway. The event features vintage items for purchase, as well as a large book sale, with most used books on sale for only one dollar. The sale opens at 10 a.m. to all, but begins early, at 9 a.m., for Friends of the Oceanside Public Library members only. Memberships, starting at $20 per year, are available for purchase at the door. The Library has creative volunteers, staff, and Friends members who have collected and donated an array of one-of-a-kind keepsakes and vintage items most often found at estate sales or antique stores. Treasures are from every corner: jewelry, home goods, décor, accessories, and art, to name a few. Thousands of great bargain books will be available for purchase. The book sale offers a mix of books and DVDs, all priced at just $1 each. Unique gift books, art works, and puzzles are specially priced. Volunteers will be on hand to assist attendees in finding and purchasing items. The event will also feature works by local artists. Proceeds from memberships and fundraising events such as these make Library programs for all ages possible. The Friends of the Library support everything from purchasing books for the Library’s collection to funding events such as storytimes, teen activities, technology assistance, and community-centered programming—including cultural celebrations, Homework Helpers, and Library Club for adults with special needs.
