One Paseo is getting into the swing of things, pun intended, with a fun pop up 18-hole miniature golf course set up on The Lawn behind Harland on January 28 and 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Whether you are a Rory fan or a Tiger devotee, One Paseo’s putt putt is the place to be during San Diego’s hottest golf weekend. The event will feature an 18-hole putt-putt course, a chipping game and a DJ to keep the energy lively.   • The wildfire that began Wednesday in San Diego’s East County near the town of Potrero has charred about 4,400 acres, jumped state route 94 and burned south toward the Tecate area. It destroyed several structures including three homes and two people have been badly burned. One of the bills that did not make it would have ended the practice of transferring non-citizens to immigration custody when they’re released from jail or prison.
