  • The Elizabeth Hospice invites the community to attend a heartfelt and vibrant Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration and potluck on Saturday, November 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mission Valley (exact address provided upon registration). Guests are invited to help decorate a community ofrenda as we honor the lives of family and loved ones who have passed. The day will include a potluck meal, storytelling, hands-on crafts for all ages, and a cacao ceremony with Nayelin Almonte. Bring a dish to share, a photo or small item for the ofrenda, and your stories. All are welcome to take part in this beautiful celebration of memory, connection, and culture. This free event is bilingual, for all ages, and open to the public. Please RSVP by emailing community@ehospice.org.
