The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) will host its third EXPO Design Market in partnership with Mortis Studio and Kiku Room, on June 6 and 7. Known as “the first lady of the sliding scale,” she warbled and screeched her way through the evening to an audience who mostly fell about with laughter. But this delusional and joyously happy woman paid little attention to her critics. Instead, she was surrounded by a circle of devoted friends who were almost as eccentric as she was. Summer is back and so are Margaritaville Hotel San Diego’s Yappy Hours! Starting off on Thursday, June 25 from 4 to 6 p.m., and running every last Thursday through October, furry friends and their owners are invited to kickback at the 5 o'Clock Somewhere Rooftop, downtown’s pup-friendly oasis.
