  • Join us for a Beer and Cheese Picnic night at Pure Project Vista. Pack your picnic supper and plan to have dinner at the brewery. We’ll kick off the evening with a five-beer and five-cheese pairing, plus a light, interesting bit of education on beer and cheese pairing ideas with Chef Dave. After the welcome tasting, you’re free to unpack your picnic, grab more beer from the bar, and enjoy the evening. Expect the usual Grainbakers class fun, a few surprise treats, sweet endings, plenty of time for lingering and conversation, and one easy Vista night with lots of Instagram-worthy moments. Event includes: - Beer and Cheese Pairing Education - 5 samples of Pure Project Beer - 5 artisan cheeses selected to pair with these beers - Reserved pincing tables and red check table cloths - Artisan Bread and butter samples from Grainbakers Breadmaking School VIP / FAQ: Participants must be 18 or older and have a ticket. An optional free tour is available from 6 to 6:30 p.m. with a Pure Project guide! Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. What beers and what cheeses? That's a surprise, but let's say 'well curated.' Chef Dave will have a lovely variety. NOT INCLUDED Picnic dinner is not included. This event is designed for you to bring your own food. Maybe you pack a fancy spread and invite three friends. Maybe you and your plus one swing by a sandwich shop on the way to the brewery. You could even order your dinner to arrive by delivery to the brewery. (We won't judge. You're a problem solver.) However you picnic, the evening begins with a curated beer and cheese flight, then it’s time to settle in, enjoy your dinner, catch the sunset, and soak up some of San Diego’s finest skies. We’ll have trash and recycling receptacles available. Very important: Please do not bring any outside alcohol. This class is: This class is fun for groups, even a group of 8 or 12.
