"Dead Moose" tells the story of Job, an eighteen-year-old who miraculously survives a car accident with a moose. Returning home from the hospital, he begins to reassess his life in a series of non-linear vignettes — grappling with questions of death, fate, and religion. All the while, the nagging voice of the dead moose lingers in his head, pushing and provoking him at every turn. Originally conceived by writer/composer Tafolla while attending AMDA Los Angeles, "Dead Moose" first introduced audiences to its songs in 2018 at Republic of Pie in Los Angeles. A concert reading was later staged in January 2025 at the City Heights Performance Annex in San Diego, directed by Tafolla and produced by Kevin “Blax” Burroughs. Content Disclaimer: "Dead Moose" is not recommended for audiences under the age of 14. Content includes themes of suicide, abuse, death, religious trauma, body shaming, homophobia and racism. This production contains flashing lights and projections, haze and loud music. Oceanside Theatre Company on Facebook / Instagram

The setting is sublime: golden hour at a rooftop pool overlooking the Pacific. The experience is unparalleled: Sail into serenity amid a symphony of soothing tones and vibrations orchestrated by Zen Diego Wellness. Welcome to Sunset Serenade, North County's premier floating sound bath. The 90-minute journey begins with a gong activation: Step into an oversized Tibetan singing bowl, rest your hands on the frame of a gong, and release tension as the deep vibrations ripple through your body. Next, lie back on your own personal raft or poolside lounger for 60 minutes of sound healing. A Zen Diego sound bath is a uniquely immersive experience featuring dozens of instruments, from crystal bowls and tinkling chimes to resonant drums and gongs. • Presented by a collaboration between SpringHill Suites Oceanside Beach and Delve Wellness. Join us for the purr-fect blend of movement, mindfulness, and meows at kitten yoga! Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just learning how to cat-cow, this all-levels class will leave you feline fine. While you practice your poses, a clowder of adorable rescue kittens will scamper and snuggle their way into your heart. It's equal parts yoga and cuddle-fest, and no one will fault you for skipping a lunge to love on our furry guests. These guys don't wait for an invitation to make your mat their own, requiring you to be mindful of where you step, sit, or lower down. Think of it as meowditation. All of the kittens are adoptable and hoping to find their furever home. And to make you feel even warmer and fuzzier inside, a portion of proceeds go directly to Furballs Furever, our pawsome rescue partner. Children ages 8+ welcome with a participating adult.
