Kindahl will be joined by her father, Guy Hunter, a 1961 graduate of Mt. Miguel High School (just down the road from the nursery)! This will also be an opportunity to bring together alumni from Mt. The AjA Project will be hosting a screening of "A Fighting Irishman" directed by Sharon Yamato and narrated by George Takei as a closing reception for "Language of Silencing," an exhibit located in the Central Library Lobby. The thirty-minute documentary from 2024 follows the story of Wayne M. Collins, a lawyer who fought for the Civil Rights of Japanese Americans during and after World War II.
