The film focuses on the ancient and obscure Christian prayer first recited by the Apostles more than 2,000 years ago in the Egyptian desert. Originally passed down verbally from one generation to the next, monks eventually transcribed the sacred words into instruction manuals originally intended only for those dedicated to a life of isolation.

Last year, a record setting 1,700 runners and walkers, from around the world, participated and raised $40,000 for our charity partners.   • Miracle Babies, a nonprofit organization whose mission is dedicated to helping perinatal mothers and their families during their time of need by providing transportation, mental health assistance and supportive services, has received a generous donation of 50,000 diapers from Baby2Baby for their upcoming diaper distribution. Baby2Baby is a nonprofit organization that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the necessities that every child deserves. Miracle Babies will be hosting its next diaper distribution on Saturday, June 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Jack in the Box Headquarters (9357 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego, 92123). Registered guests will be able to attend the free diaper distribution from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the drive will be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over 350 local families are anticipated to attend. Miracle Babies has supplied over 1.3 million diapers throughout the pandemic to families in need. The San Diego Sci-Fi Coalition will assist Miracle Babies’ staff and volunteers distribute thousands of diapers, menstrual supply products, and other PPE products. The San Diego Sci-Fi Coalition is a volunteer group that dresses up as superheroes and attends charity events. American Medical Response (AMR) will also provide free car seat safety inspections on a limited basis. Families in need of products should register online at the Miracles Babies website to ensure availability of diaper sizes at www.miraclebabies.org. Diaper donations and volunteers are welcome and accepted at all distributions.
