Pundemonium! is a three-part event based on the format used by pun contests in cities nationwide: - In Part 1, Battle of the PUNdits, participants who have signed up in advance will deliver two-minute pun-filled speeches, and the audience will determine the winner. - In Part 2, PUNslingers, punsters get two minutes to write down as many puns on a given topic as they can. This 75 minute class takes a deeper focus of Musical theatre dance. Students should have a basic understanding of dance technique. Class will focus on developing artistry, picking up choreography, and and fun energetic appreciation of Musical Theatre Dance. Class will include a physical warm up and different dance combinations. These pieces are executed on glass with chunky strokes of oil and spray paint - with freedom to explore beyond the boundary of the frame. The DOUBLE EXPOSURE series broadly reflects aspects of a landscape aesthetic —real and imagined. Surrounded daily, living in Southern California, with stunningly vibrant, whimsical and breathtaking natural beauty, from the Pacific Ocean beaches to the high desert mountains, Cathy is inspired and motivated to capture her experience of nature.
