The paintings are created using practiced brush strokes and traditional tools of this ancient art form (rice paper, ink, colors, and animal hair brushes). The paintings depict both traditional and contemporary subjects. Various brush painting styles (detailed and spontaneous) will be on exhibit - highlighting the diversity and breadth of techniques used by modern brush artists. Our artists range from students to accomplished painters and calligraphers, many who have studied with masters in China.
