This live adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s "The Mother" (first performed in 1932), includes original musical numbers and improvised content, and also maintains the Brechtian concept of the Lehrstück, or learning-play, by inviting audience members to participate in select scenes. A play about the revolutionary potential of motherhood, My Barbarian's "The Mother and Other Plays" offers audiences a theatrical, and critical, performance experience.  Refreshments will be available for purchase from The Kitchen.
