In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Evensong service will feature all music written by female composers, including the world premiere of Joanna Forbes "L'Estrange's Nunc Dimittis" (Song of Simeon) from the San Diego Service! The program starts with an extended organ prelude at 6 p.m. and the Evensong begins at 6:15 p.m. First Church’s Chamber Choir will lead this beautiful service, led by Brian Woods-Lustig, Conductor.
