Enjoy it all with sweeping views of Balboa Park as the backdrop. Brunch is from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on each date. Seating is open, casual, and first-come, first-served. North County VetFest returns to Escondido for its seventh annual celebration honoring local veterans, active-duty service members and military families. The day begins with a Veterans Day parade at 9:30 a.m., featuring veterans, community organizations and patriotic entries traveling through downtown Escondido. After the parade, guests can continue to Grape Day Park and the surrounding festival area for family activities, sponsor displays and opportunities to connect with local veterans. Veterans can sign up to ride on a float or in a Packard, while community members and organizations can register to participate in the parade.
