He grew up on the far North Side of Chicago, and has been a news junkie as long as he can remember. He moved to Arizona to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, graduating magna cum laude. He was part of the Murrow and PRNDI-award winning team at KJZZ that covered Arizona’s controversial SB 1070 anti-immigration law throughout 2010. His passions include pop culture, art and big dogs.
